The Samsung 1TB T7 Shield Portable SSD is ideal for outdoor usage, with a rubber-protected casing and an IP65 rating, offering content makers both performance and durability. The tough construction and sophisticated exterior elastomer keep it safe from drops while being lightweight and portable. Furthermore, with reading and write speeds of up to 1,050 MB/s and 1,000 MB/s, respectively, the T7 Shield provides customers with rapid performance and low downtime. Its USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C connector supports a wide range of devices.
Fast Performance and High Security
The T7 Shield has a maximum read speed of 1,050 MB/s and a maximum write speed of 1,000 MB/s through its USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C connector. It is almost twice as fast as its predecessor, the T5, and up to 9.5 times quicker than a standard external hard disk drive. The T7 Shield offers 256-bit AES hardware encryption to keep data safe and secure even if the T7 Shield is lost. It also has access to Samsung’s Magician Software, which allows users to easily control the drive.
IP65 Water Resistance
Samsung has designed the T7 Shield from the inside out to withstand drops of up to 9.8 feet. It also has an IP65 classification, which means it is dust and water-resistant. The high-tech rubber exterior with Dynamic Thermal Guard regulates heat to provide consistent performance even on huge projects. Slips are prevented by the attractive rubberized grip.
